Now, my underwire's coming out
My first day in my new town the underwire from my bra came poking out.* As we women know, once that happens, there is little hope for recovery. You can stuff that damn wire down. You can duct tape it back into the place where it belongs. You can put a cotton ball where it is rubbing and tearing your skin. But eventually surgery and extraction must be performed. And after that, a little funeral for the deceased. And as we big breasted women have learned, an underwire bra without the underwire is merely a tee-shirt. And it was my favorite.
I have lost my sunglasses. I think I lost them on Saturday when it was so friggin’ rainy, dreary, and gray, and, I obviously didn’t need them so they got tossed somewhere. Will you let me know if you find them?
Hope this pattern soon ends and I stop losing things.
I did my first load of laundry as “a single gal.” And although my STBX husband usually did the laundry (Don’t you dare say a word. I do not want anyone asking me why I would leave a man who did the laundry.), I think it’s my underwear’s first trip in the washer and dryer without boy underwear. I think they kinda liked it.
*This time it was at the armpit side as opposed to the front. One Easter the underwire came out at the front right under my chin and literally snaked its way out during communion. I had to remove it while receiving “the body of Christ,” but luckily, the priest at the time was the father of 5 daughters, and I am assured he understood what the problem was. Matter of fact, he practically fell over laughing as I held the wire with the wafer in my hand.

Bwahahahaha!
You gals have the hardest time with your underwear don't you!
Hope you are enjoying single life.. HMMMM, what was that like???
Gotta hate the wire coming out. And my undies always wash seperately of hubbies ;)
I thought I saw them peeking out from under the seat...no? My bad!
Don't you just hate that when the wire comes out? Of course, it NEVER comes out at a convenient time. And I hate to waste time shopping for a new one yet it is FUNDAMENTAL! Sheesh!
BWAHAHAHAH!!! OMG!!! Woman, you freakin crack me up!!!!
I hate the underwire issue. That's happened to me before ~ both sides coming out. You're right ~ it's never a good experience.
I'm not sure if my undies will know what it's like to be mixed with boy undies anymore. It's been entirely too long!
M~
Honey I had to give up the hardwire....I need the monster back support to hold up my girls. Wires weren't cuttin' it.
But I did have that lovely experience of wondering WTF was poking me in the chin....
Funny post.
Hope you are doing well, I miss you.

I don't have that underwire problem... but I do about 90% of all the laundry in my household... boy and girl underwear do get wash together.
If the timing is right, bras get washed with the delicates...
Oh....P3's the MAN!!! You rock buddy.
Any man that even KNOWS that bra's go with delicates....I would put on a pedestal and worship for the rest of my days.
♥Pam
P.S. course, my boy does laundry and does the same thing...*smirks knowingly*
Ok, but do any of them know NOT to put bras in the dryer!? Elastic, hey I do laundry too you know. Just wished I had someone else's (girl) undies to wash. Hey wait, M... you send me some of yours, and I will send you some of mine. Works for me.
Underwires, shees you gals have nothing on my ex, she was a double j cup. Yes you read that right. We had to get her's special made, two at a time for $75 each. She actuall had to be fitted, not like you can get that stuff off the rack. (Hee hee, I said rack.)
Yeah...I think I must be FotoNut's ex-wifes identical twin sister. Special fittes monstrocities for me. Mind don't have actual wires though, some newfangled plastic boneing (haha I said boneing)so it doesn't come poking out before the elastic has thrown in the towel. Gotta love that! I about died with your communion story...tooo funny!
I think if you're starting over with a new apartment and all, then new glasses and new bras are in order..don't look at it as loosing things, but as an opportunity to find new things for your new life!

I had the same problem with wires, but it was in my braces. No, I guess that's not the same at all, is it??
I have the cotton stuffed in mine as we speak!
Damn big boobs!
ROFL about the underware comment. My panties like the washer to themselves also. ::wink::
OMG!!!
I don't know which is funnier...
your comment about your undies being by themselves for the first time. or everyone elses comments...
Too funny chick.
I laughed so hard about the underwire without the wire being merely a tee shirt..amen to that!!
LOL...
My everything likes to be washed without his. ;)

Been away a while and just got caught up on the doings in your life. BTW - my wire popped during a job interview -AAAAGGGHHHH
