The necklace

I finally took the necklace off. 16 months I have worn the jade heart that Sailor Boy gave me for our first Valentine's Day. Never took it off. The chain broke in Vegas, and I got a replacement one right away so people wouldn't notice and ask questions. It was too painful, too raw. But in unpacking some more shit today, I found my cross necklace from years ago. Simple, silver, and meaningful.

It's a big step.

Next to a beautiful cross, that jade heart looks like it came out of a gumball machine.

Nice necklace but apart from that, lovely neck, love your red hair.

I'm sorry, Red. There is always some 'anonymous' idiot hiding behind a rock, wanting to criticize, not showing any courage at all. Pay it no attention.
